The Chronicles of the Cash Register

well, for most of you who know me know that i work back in the pharmacy at walgreens in highland heights. i like my job, i just think it can be extremely funny some of the time. especially when we get the weirdo's. i swear, just the other day i had this lady pull up to the drive thru that gave me her money and it fell out of the little box thing that you pull the money/prescriptions in. i was like" umm, mam, i'm sorry but your money just fell out of the thing". she looked at me like she wanted me to die that instant. i've found that there are a lot of people there that tend to give me that look. even the other tech's prolly think i am a real annoyance when i ask about a hundred billion questions just because i have absolutly no idea who the doctor is that signs his name like he's had a bit too much stress in his life lately!! i mean, stuff like that is just not my fault. some days are good days and other days are just plain horrible. i mean, people don't understand that there are some 5 cars behind them in the drive thru and i have no control over when the stupid doctor is going to call back!!! i really like the nice people tho, and i have found that the nice people usually aren't the lazy ones, they at least have the ability to get out of their cars and come inside! a couple nights ago, this lady was at the window, and i was ringing her up and this car comes by in the drive thru and just starts honking his horn like he's the only person in the world who has ever come to walgreens to get their prescription. well, after about 15 seconds this guy gives up and blows out of there like all of a sudden the drive thru became the nascar 500. well, this lady seen me just roll my eyes a little bit and she says, " well, if they weren't that lazy they would actually come into the store". i thought, "wow, she's the nicest person i've met all day". last week we almost had an arrest. that was exciting. the guy wanted like 60 oxycodone and the pharmacist called the doctor, the doctor said, "i never prescribe more than 20." so, they called the police and the police caught him at walmart. geez, walmart gets all the fun. lol but anyways, i think i have to go and read about 16 pages about hinduism. fun, fun.
